Pastor Dave

Pastor Dave has been at Bethlehem Covenant full-time since October of 2003. He graduated from Gordon College in 1999 with a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. He attended Gordon-Conwell Seminary for two years before transferring to North Park Seminary in Chicago where he graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 2003. He and his wife Elizabeth have been married since 2003. They have two cats, Max and Ortiza (named after Red Sox slugger David Ortiz). Pastor Dave’s grandfather was pastor of Bethlehem Covenant from 1978-1984 and so Dave and Elizabeth are living in the same church parsonage his grandparents lived in many years ago. Pastor Dave enjoys going to the gym, reading, watching and playing sports (especially college basketball), kayaking and traveling. He is an avid Red Sox fan and his identical twin brother is a Yankees fan.

Ryan Thompson,

Youth Ministry Intern

RJT Photo
Ryan Thompson is the youth intern for the foreseeable future here at Bethlehem Covenant Church.  Having grown up at Bethlehem, he was involved with youth programs both here and at several other churches in the area.  He has had internships at several other churches in the past, but in his own words "Bethlehem has always had a special place in my heart."  Ryan has attended Zion Bible College in Haverhill, Massachusetts, North Park University in Chicago, and is currently attending Liberty University, finishing hisyouth ministry degree through their online program.  The diversity of the schools he has attended has provided him with great insight into many aspects of the Christian faith, which he looks forward to sharing with the youth at Bethlehem.  He enjoys playing video games, videography, playing music, and who would have guessed, youth work.  "I feel very blessed to have this job and I am excited to see all of these great things starting to happen with the youth here at the church!"

David and Ryan can both be contacted through our contact form (see above menu).
