Welcome to Bethlehem Covenant's online ministry.

This Sunday's sermon was called, "The Life That is Truly Life."  The Apostle Paul tells us that "Godliness with contentment is great gain.  In the context of these words Paul is talking about money and how it can lead to troubles for many people.  A real life example is given in the sermon--someone who won an almost 100 million dollar lottery jackpot and yet his life has gone downhill fast ever since.  Godliness with contentment is great gain.  Too often we take for granted all that we have.  Take hold of the life that is truly life--take hold of those things which cannot be bought with money.

Here are some upcoming events on our calendar:  

No Bible Study--no study this Thursday.  We will resume next week. 

Confirmation Class--begins this Sunday the 30th from 4:30 to 6pm at church.

Annual Yard Sale— Saturday, October 6, 2007, from 9-3 to benefit the “2009 CHIC Group.”  If you have “treasures” to donate they may be left at the church marked “CHIC” or if you need pick-up contact Lil Stafinski at 508-865-5913 or Jeanne Bartkus at 508-791-8252.  Tables are available for $10.00.  See the sign-up sheet in the vestry or call the church office.

Movie Night--Sat.  October 13th at 6pm.  We will meet at church for pizza at 6 and movie at 6:30.  The movie this month is called "Saved!"  The movie is rated PG-13.  Discussion to follow the movie.

Potluck Supper and Concert--Sat. Oct. 27th.  The potluck will begin at 5:30 and the concert by Shiloh will begin at 7pm.  Shiloh is a five piece acoustic band.  See their website for more info: www.shiloh-band.com.
