Welcome to Bethlehem Covenant's online ministry.

This week's sermon asks the question: "Do Muslims and Christians Worship the Same God?"  It's a question many people wonder about and have opinions on, especially given our current world situation.  Historically, there have been times when Christians, Jews and Muslims have coexisted peacefully.  Such is not really the case today.  Do we worship the same God?  How do we approach those of a different faith?  These are complex questions that cannot be answered fully in one short sermon.  But this sermon provides some food for thought on the issue.

Here are some upcoming events on our calendar:  

Bible Study--Thursday nights at church at 7pm.  We are studying the Gospel of John. 

Our Fall worship Schedule will begins Sept. 9th.  The worship service will start at 10:30am.  On weeks when the choir is with us they will rehearse at 9:00am. 

Board Meeting--this Tuesday (Sept. 11) at 7pm t church.

Men’s Fall Retreat—Oct 5-7^th at Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey, NH.  The theme of the weekend is “All That God Wants You To Be.”  Brochures are available downstairs in the vestry.  Please see Pastor Dave for more information or check out the website at www.pilgrimpines.org.  Financial assistance is available. 

Women’s Fall Retreat—Sept. 14-16 or Sept. 21-23 at Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey, NH.  The theme for this retreat is “Becoming a Vessel God Can Use.”  Registration forms are available in the vestry. Financial assistance is available.

Annual Yard Sale— Saturday, October 6, 2007, from 9-3 to benefit the “2009 CHIC Group.”  If you have “treasures” to donate they may be left at the church marked “CHIC” or if you need pick-up contact Lil Stafinski at 508-865-5913 or Jeanne Bartkus at 508-791-8252.  Tables are available for $10.00.  See the sign-up sheet in the vestry or call the church office.
