Welcome to Bethlehem Covenant Church and our website.  Today is the second Sunday after Epiphany.  “Epiphany” means “to shine forth.”  This season lasts from January 6th, the day of the coming of the Magi (wise men) to Ash Wednesday.  It celebrates Christ's giving light to the whole world, which the Magi represent.  The liturgical color is green, symbolizing the growth of the church throughout the world. 

Here are some of our upcoming events:

• Confirmation class meets today from 4:30 to 6pm at church.
• The Music and Worship Committee will meet next Sunday, January 21 immediately following the morning service. 
• Meal with the Minister: Wednesday the 24th at 12 noon.
• Annual Meeting: the second part of our congregational annual meeting will be held after the service on January 28th.  Please plan to attend this meeting.  The annual reports will be passed out at this time.
