BCC.org has implemented a new menu system, as seen above. Many options have moved from the left hand menu to this one. You siimply need to hover your house over each button and a sub-menu will drop down with additional options. This will provide us with room for further expansion of website features, and give us more room to link to them. Enjoy!

Welcome to Bethlehem Covenant's online ministry.

The sermon title for Dec. 9th is: "Repent, You Snakes!"  Quite a sermon title.  This was the message of John the Baptist to the religious leaders of his day.  John was the forerunner of Jesus; he was sent to "prepare the way" as he calls it.  A big part of this preparation was repentance--changing one's life, turning around and going in a new direction.  God allows U-turns and that is good news for us.  Let us prepare for the coming of Jesus at Christmas with repentance where needed, not just hours of shopping at the malls.

Here are some upcoming events on our calendar:

Church Board Meeting--Tuesday Dec. 11th at 7pm.

December 15, 2007 - Missions is hosting a Ladies’ Christmas Tea at 2:00 PM.   If interested, see the sign-up sheet downstairs.  Also, if you are attending would you please bring one gift wrapped Christmas ornament and 1 dozen cookies.

December 16, 2007—Missions is hosting a Children’s Christmas Party for children of BCC and Angel Tree children from 1:00 to 3:00.  A sign-up sheet will be available.   The children will make their own pizzas for lunch and will also be served punch and cookies.  Santa’s Elves will be at the party.   If your child is attending, please bring a wrapped gift with your child’s name on it.

Music and Worship Committee--meets next Sunday (16th) after the service.

Christmas Eve Service-4pm on Christmas Eve.  Come join us for this beautiful service of scripture lessons and carols.

Welcome to Bethlehem Covenant's online ministry.

The sermon for Dec. 2nd is called "Going Into Debt this Christmas Season."  This brief message looks at the ongoing debt we have to love one another.  During this Christmas season many of us who are in debt already go into even deeper debt because we feel we have to buy so much "stuff" during the holidays.  The Apostle Paul says "let no debt remain outstanding except the continuing debt to love one another."

Here are some upcoming events on our calendar:

Confirmation--December 2nd at church from 4:30 to 6pm.

Youth Group--Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8pm.

Angel Tree Ministry—gift tags will be available starting today.  These tags are for children in the immediate area who have one or both parents in prison.  Take a tag and buy the gift and bring it to church.  This is a chance to give them and their parents strength, possibility of trust, faith, love, and to show that someone cares.  Help restore brokenness and plant new memories of laughter and joy and to make these children feel special.

Missions Soup Luncheon—December 9th.  Plan on staying for a hearty soup, bread, dessert and coffee.  For those who are attending the theatre production Bah Humbug we will leave immediately after lunch as the production starts at 2:00 PM.

December 15, 2007 - Missions is hosting a Ladies’ Christmas Tea at 2:00 PM.   If interested, see the sign-up sheet downstairs.  Also, if you are attending would you please bring one gift wrapped Christmas ornament and 1 dozen cookies.
